Why Choose
Sure Sight?
Why choose Sure Sight Home Inspection? We'll give you five
good reasons.
Thorough Inspection
No inspection is a rush job. All of my inspections adhere to, and in many cases
exceed, the strict home inspection standards set forth by the state of North Carolina.
While some inspectors are in and out in the shortest time
possible, Sure Sight Home Inspection takes as much time
as needed to make a complete and accurate assessment of
the home's condition. A typical home inspection will last
anywhere from 2 ½ to 4 hours, depending on the size,
style and condition of the home. While in and out in an
hour may be great for oil changes and film developing, I
feel that, with average home prices well above $200,000,
a thorough inspection is a must. For this reason, Sure Sight
Home Inspection only schedules one or two inspections per
day.
Sure Sight Home Inspection also offers on-going support
after the inspection. If you're unclear on something in
the report or have follow-up questions, don't hesitate to
give me a call. I'm happy to answer any questions you may
have about your home or future home.
Detailed Report
Sure Sight Home Inspection offers what I believe to be
the best report in the industry. I have spent countless
hours putting together a report that is not only one of
the most detailed available, but also easy to read and understand.
The report, provided to you via e-mail and hard copy, offers
a detailed checklist of every part of your home, inside
and out, and pictures of any areas of concern or safety
issues. View
sample reports.
Fair and Honest Pricing
Think our competitors are cheaper? Look again at the fine
print. Sure Sight Home Inspection will never advertise one
price and charge you another. While some competitors will
add on fees, Sure Sight's stated price is the price you
pay.
Sure Sight Home Inspection may not be the least expensive
home inspector out there, but as with many other things
in life, you get what you pay for. Buying or selling a home
is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make, and Sure
Sight Home Inspection offers the best value for your dollar.
In hiring me, you're investing in quality, consistency,
education, detailed reporting, and integrity.
Education and Professional Memberships
I am a graduate of the American Home Inspectors Training
Institute's master course, an intensive education in the
inner workings of a home. I continue to read and study to
ensure that I am up-to-date on the latest developments in
home systems. I hold a home inspector license through the
North
Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board (NCHILB
License No. 2490), which requires that I complete continuing
education credits each year to maintain membership. I voluntarily
exceed this amount to ensure that I provide the best possible
service to my customers. For example, I recently completed
the top-level licensing course for heating, ventilation,
air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC), more training
than most HVAC technicians working in the field receive.
Independently Owned and Operated
Business
Sure Sight Home Inspection independently owned and operated
by Matthew Bartels. I serve as an unbiased third party in
evaluating the property. I am not a contractor and have
no ties to real estate brokerage. I stand nothing to gain
in whether the home is sold or not. Sure Sight Home Inspection
is not a franchise. My name and reputation are built on
the quality of service I provide at each and every inspection.
When you sign on for an inspection with me, you have a one-on-one
customer-to-inspector contract.
